Junaid Khan, born as Junaid Khan Niazi on 2 November 1981, is a multifaceted Pakistani artist known for his roles as an actor, producer, and singer-songwriter.

Career: 

Junaid Khan has been the lead vocalist of the Lahore-based rock band Call since the early 2000s, and the band has achieved commercial success with albums like "Jilawatan" and "Dhoom."

As an actor, he gained recognition for his roles in television serials such as "Sun Yaara" (2017), "Ishq Tamasha" (2018), and "Yaariyan" (2019). His portrayal of Dr. Talal Sikandar in the 2017 drama "Sun Yaara" on Ary Digital marked a significant milestone in his acting career.

In 2012, Khan received nominations at the Lux Style Awards in two categories: Best TV Actor for the serial "Dil Ki Lagi" and Best Album of the Year for the album "Dhoom."

In 2022, he ventured into production with Jeem Films, aiming to provide a platform to promote emerging talent in the industry.

Early Life: 

Born on 2 November 1981 in Multan, Punjab, Pakistan, Junaid Khan Niazi completed his early education from Divisional Public School and Ibne Sina College Defence. After matriculation, he pursued a degree in Engineering from the Mining Engineering Department of UET Lahore. During his third year at UET, he embarked on his musical journey when he auditioned for Call and became part of the band. Khan later earned an MBA degree from Imperial College in Lahore.

Junaid Khan's transition to acting was influenced by his artistic upbringing, with his mother being a gold medallist in Fine Arts. He developed a passion for drawing and theatre during his student days, providing the foundation for his future as an actor.

Career with Call: 

Khan's musical journey with Call began with the release of their first track, "Nishaan," which gained popularity on the internet. The band's first music video for the song "Pukaar" further solidified their presence in the mainstream music scene. Call started performing live at various events in Pakistan and internationally, eventually releasing their album "Jilawatan" in 2005.

Solo Music: 

In addition to his work with Call, Junaid Khan pursued a solo music career, releasing songs like "Sab Bhulla Kay" in 2005 and "So Close So Distant." He also collaborated with American singer Jennifer Jandris, composing and producing a track, and released it on Valentine's Day in 2012. In 2021, Khan released his new solo track "Taqdeer," showcasing his talent as a singer-songwriter.
